This is the template documentation page for {{Sprite}}. It is not intended to be viewed directly. If it uses variables, some links may appear broken. Do not replace these variables with hardcoded page names or URLs.

If a position file is available (uploaded to File:<sprite sheet name> Positions.png, for example File:CommentCSS Positions.png), it is overlaid over the sprite sheet, and is shown when hovered over. Otherwise, the sprite sheet image is displayed with a link to upload the positions file under it.
